Montville Township resident's trial on charges of impersonating his brother to get a driver's license starts this summer, according to a news report.

Trial Date Set for 'Real Housewives' Joe Giudice

A trial date has been set for Joe Giudice, the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast member and Towaco resident charged with impersonating his brother to get a driver's license, The Record reported Tuesday.

The trial starts July 15, according to the report.

Giudice is glad there's a trial date and "we look forward to Joe being exonerated," his attorney, Miles Feinstein, told The Record.

The husband of reality star Teresa Giudice was charged in 2010 with using his brother's marriage and birth certificates to get a license at the Paterson DMV under his brother's name while his own license was suspended for a DUI in Montville Township, authorities said.

If found guilty, Giudice could face up to 10 years in prison.

Authorities have said the driver's license investigation started when Lincoln Park police pulled over Giudice's brother, Pietro Giudice, during a routine traffic stop and Joe Giudice's photo showed up when they checked his information.
