Laudate Chorale Sings for Charity in Moorestown

A 40-member choir sings for local charities, with 100 percent of proceeds of each fundraiser going toward the stated cause.

Laudate Chorale Sings for Charity in Moorestown
A group of singers who performed in the Trenton Diocese Choir Festival for about 20 years are now singing for charity in Moorestown.

Steven Lucasi and a 40-member ensemble known as Laudate Chorale sing to raise money for charities in Moorestown, the Burlington County Times reports. Lucasi is the director of sacred music at Our Lady of Good Counsel.

Laudate Chorale is latin for "chorus of praise."

Lucasi and a number of the singers in the ensemble sang in the Trenton Diocese Choir Festival until about 2012. When Lucasi the ensemble disbanded, many wished to continue singing, according to the report.

The group moved to Moorestown, picked up some members and now performs for charity, as long as 100 percent of the proceeds are put toward the stated cause.
