Moorestown Nonprofit Celebrates A Year Of Kindness
The Local Acts of Kindness Foundation was founded on Nov. 13, 2019, which was World Kindness Day.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — A Moorestown based nonprofit that encourages kindness among neighbors will celebrate its one-year anniversary next week. Appropriately, the Local Acts of Kindness Foundation was founded on Nov. 13, 2019, which was World Kindness Day.
To celebrate, the nonprofit recently kicked-off 'Kind 'R Us', a town-wide toy drive to collect new, unused toys for the month of November benefiting St. Christopher's Hospital For Children. Visit www.KindRus.org for drop-off locations.
Local Acts of Kindness Foundation is also taking reservations from those who work in Moorestown and are interested in participating in their Trim-A-Tree Challenge, in which businesses and offices in town are challenged to fill a table-top tree with $5 gift cards in five days, benefiting those less fortunate. The challenge runs from December 1-21. Visit www.TrimATreeChallenge.org for more details.

Local Acts of Kindness Foundation inspires, encourages, and brings neighbors together for the purpose of practicing kindness towards others, within their own communities and beyond. It was formed by the DiPasquale family, which has been active in the Moorestown community for several years.
It all began with their Tractor Trailer Challenge in 2017 and 2018, in which they ask the community to help them pack a tractor trailer to help victims of natural disasters.
