Burglary (Holiday Village) — A burglar slipped into a home on the unit block of Danville Court through an unlocked rear window and stole $850 worth of jewelry and cash, according to police. The theft occurred between Sept. 22 and 3:51 p.m. Sept. 30.
Theft from vehicle, 12:01-8 a.m. — Approximately $1,700 worth of tools were stolen after a thief forced open the side and rear doors of a vehicle parked on the 2100 block of Larchmont Place, police said. Damage is estimated at $400.
Burglary, 5 p.m. to midnight — Police said a burglar cut the padlock to a storage shed at the Greyhound bus station on Fellowship Road and stole a $3,000 power washer. Damage is estimated at $25.
Burglary (Birchfield), 6-7 p.m. — Jewelry, valued at approximately $1,500, was stolen from a home on the unit block of Juniper Drive after a burglar forced open a living room window, according to police.
Theft, 11:40 p.m. — Police said $8 worth of gas was stolen from the Wawa on Route 73.
Burglary — Approximately $2,000 worth of tools were stolen from the 400 block of Elbo Lane after a burglar broke in through a side window sometime between Sept. 15 and midnight Oct. 5, police said.
Burglary (Canterbury) — Police said a laptop and other items, valued at approximately $1,200, were stolen from a residence on the 100 block of Canterbury Road, sometime between 5 p.m. Oct. 5 and 1 a.m. Oct. 6. Entry was gained through undetermined means, police said.
Burglary, 3:05-3:15 p.m. — A burglar slipped in through the rear door of a residence on the 900 block of Union Mill Road and stole a $400 camera, according to police.
Arrest (DWI), 1:15 a.m. — Police arrested Charles M. Ghegan Jr., 25, of the unit block of Saddle Drive, after stopping him for a motor vehicle violation on Hartford Road, according to a report. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Arrest (criminal mischief), 2:16 a.m. — Police arrested Joshua E. Taylor, 26, of the 2500 block of Yarmouth Lane, after officers were called to the 2500 block of Yarmouth Lane for a disturbance. Taylor destroyed a flower bed, refused to comply with responding officers and provided a false identity to avoid arrest on an outstanding warrant, according to police. He was charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and hindering his own apprehension and committed to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail.
Theft, 6:44 a.m. — Someone stole $57 worth of gas from the Shell service station on Route 38, police said.
Arrest (shoplifting), 3:54 p.m. — Police arrested Jaclyn M. Newton, 31, of the 200 block of New Jersey Avenue, Haddon Township, for shoplifting $99.16 in merchandise from Wegmans, according to a report. She was committed to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
