Former Moorestonian Pauline Campbell Anderson, of Monroe Township, passed away on Christmas Day at the age of 93.
She was born in Charlotte, NC, on Jan. 31, 1919, and married Julius Aldrich (Andy) Anderson in 1945.
Polly was an avid gardener and previously an active member in the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown and the Moorestown Garden Club and Questers. She enjoyed flower arranging, poetry, music and antique collecting, as well as traveling to see family and friends all over the country. Her North Carolina accent never left her and she always considered herself a Southerner at heart.
Pauline is predeceased by her husband, Julius Anderson, and survived by her sister, Emily Campbell Gordon, of Fieldale, VA, and her children: Patricia Anderson Rutkowski, of Duxbury, MA; Phillip Anderson, of Benicia , CA; David Anderson, of Brooklyn, NY; and Julie Anderson Ronner, of Berkeley Heights, NJ. She had eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown, 101 Bridgeboro Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown, or to the Springpoint Senior Living Foundation in Princeton, NJ.
