Temperatures in the teens? No big deal.

Dozens of Moorestonians braved the frigid weather Friday to take part in a town tradition: sledding on Stokes Hill the day after a snowstorm.

With school out, children of every age (and their parents) streaked down the snow-covered slope— made famous by Samuel Leeds Allen, inventor of the Flexible Flyer sled, who used the hill as a testing ground for the popular sled.
