Morris Twp Police Searching For Suspected Naptime Burglar
He allegedly broke into the house as two residents slept, police said.

MORRIS TWP, NJā Morris Township Police are seeking information about a suspected jewelry burglar who broke in while residents were asleep.
On Jan. 11 at 1:05 p.m. a man entered a Kitchell Place home through an unlocked sliding door, apparently unaware two residents were sleeping inside, according to police.
The man "ransacked" the master bedroom, police said, before moving into another room. He woke up a man asleep in the room, and ran out the same way he came in.

Police say he stole women's jewelry, and a mason jar and white bowl full of loose change.
The suspected burglary is described by police as a "light skinned black male (mixed race), slender build, 5ā10āā, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, hood pulled over head and a dark green (olive) jacket." He was driving a light blue, newer model four door sedan, pictured above.
