Two men accused of selling cocaine to an undercover police officer in Morris Township won’t have their bail reduced after a judge maintained the cost Thursday.
Pledger asked the judge to reduce his bail below $100,000, the report said, claiming he needed to be home to care for a relative with autism.
Smith is scheduled to be sentenced on Friday for a guilty plea he entered in October for operating a drug manufacturing facility from his former Dover home, the report said. Smith was free on bail when the cocaine incident occurred this past week.
The duo is accused of allegedly selling the drug to an undercover officer near the Collinsville Playground in Morris Township.
