Rescued From New Jersey Cliff, Lucky Dog Needs New Home
The Animal Clinic of Morris Plains recently got a new tenant, and her story is an incredible one.

Recently named Clover for the luck she's enjoyed, the "socialized" dog was waiting patiently on the side of a cliff in Garrett Mountain Park in Passaic County before rescuers were able to pull her to safety, according to CBS2 News.

Clover was rescued Monday by a group of firefighters and taken to the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains. There veterinarian Paul Sedlacek said that aside from her mud-battered coat, she was in good health and didn't seem to be stray for that long, the report said.

The staff of the animal clinic needed to shave Clover's coat down because the dirt and mud was so overwhelming, but, as the video shows, she's in great spirits.

If Clover's owner does not come forward within a week, she will officially be placed up for adoption. For more information, contact the Second Chance Pet Adoption League at (973) 208-1054.
