Man Found Dead In Morristown Woods, No Signs Of Suspicious Activity: Prosecutor
A flyer stated Kevin McPherson went missing in February, prompting members of the Morristown community to spread word of his disappearance.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — A man was found dead Thursday in the woods in Morristown, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. Authorities identified the deceased as Kevin McPherson, 60.
A man of the same name went missing in February, prompting members of the Morristown community to spread word of his disappearance. Flyers shared throughout social media said McPherson was last seen Feb. 3 on Market Street.
"We cannot comment on the flyer," an MCPO spokesperson said when asked whether the cases were connected.

A person walking their dog saw a dead man — later identified as McPherson — along a path that runs through the woods near Cory Road and Hillairy Avenue. Officials took McPherson's body to the Morris County Medical Examiner's Office.
There are no signs of suspicious activity at this time, according to the prosecutor's office. The investigation remains ongoing.
