Watch Mendham Resident, Former New York Jet Test Limits on 'Biggest Loser'

Damien Woody has been through every fitness drill, every muscle building lift, and had his body tested in unimaginable ways.

That’s what spending an 11-year career in the National Football League on three teams will do to a player.

But the now-retired offensive lineman and Mendham resident may have met his biggest challenge yet: trying to lose weight on the television reality show Biggest Loser.

Woody is part of a cast that includes former athletes from a variety of sports looking to get back in shape from their playing days.

The father of seven entered to the competition at 388 pounds, heavier than the weight he carried during his playing days with the New England Patriots, Detroit Lions, and New York Jets.
