Man Killed When Car Catches Fire In Piscataway Crash May 6
The accident happened on Stelton Road near Jessie Way in Piscataway early Sunday morning, May 6.

PISCATAWAY, NJ — A man was killed early Sunday morning, May 6, when the car he was a passenger in crashed into a concrete barrier and caught fire in Piscataway.
The accident happened on Stelton Road near Jessie Way in Piscataway, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Piscataway police Chief Scott Cartmell. The driver of a 2014 Toyota Camry hit a concrete barrier on the road and the car caught fire. The driver of the Camry was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital with serious injuries and underwent immediate surgery.
But the passenger did not survive the fiery crash, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

He has not been identified by the prosecutor's office.
No charges have been filed, but an investigation is active and is continuing.
