Police searched for three days for the “armed and dangerous” Hudson County man who allegedly shot his wife to death on Thursday evening, authorities say.
According to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, Jersey City officers responded to the 100 block of Manning Avenue on a report of a domestic dispute around 6 p.m. Thursday. On arrival, the officers found an unresponsive female victim with a gunshot wound to her upper torso.
The victim, later identified as Sineka Davis, 38, of Jersey City, was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:50 p.m., prosecutors said.
On Friday, authorities issued an arrest warrant for Franklin, charging him with murder in violation of N.J.S. 2C: 11-3, a first-degree crime.
“Franklin should not be approached,” police said. “He should be considered armed and dangerous.” [See above photo]
