'True Islam and the Extremists' Event at Rutgers University
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Central Jersey is holding "True Islam and the Extremists," next Tuesday, April 19 at Rutgers.

New Brunswick, NJ - The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Central Jersey is holding event entitled "True Islam and the Extremists," next Tuesday, April 19 at Rutgers University in New Brunswick.
The lecture will go from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Cook Campus Student Center – Multipurpose room C, 59 Biel Road and is free and open to the public. Writes the group:
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community categorically condemns all terrorist attacks, including the recent assault in Brussels, Belgium, that left 31 killed and dozens injured. As a counter narrative to extremist ideology, "True Islam and the Extremists" is about dispelling myths and misconceptions about Islam will be discussed to unite in the fight against extremist ideologies.

State Senator Samuel D. Thompson (R), District 12 and state Senator Raymond J. Lesniak (D), District 20 will be there, as will Rutgers campus police Lieutenant Wilmot and the mayor and police chief of Bernards Township, which recently voted to reject a proposed mosque there.
