Massive Fire By Sea Isle City Boat Rental: Officials
Multiple fire departments responded to the fire around Two Chums Bait & Tackle. It was extinguished at about 1 p.m.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — A massive structure fire broke out in Sea Isle City on Sunday afternoon, according to officials. Reports say the fire took place on 43rd Place around the Two Chums bait, tackle and marine shop.
The fire broke out at around 12:15 p.m., and fire crews doused a large diesel fuel container inside the burned-out shed, according to The Press of Atlantic City. Three buildings were damaged in the fire, which was put out by 1 p.m., The Press reported.
It is unclear if there are any injuries at this time, according to CBS3. Officials helped rescue neighboring homeowner Carol Nicastro, 73, and her cat Adolf, from the three-story building next to the fire, The Press reported. First responders treated her for minor smoke inhalation.
