"Drew has played key roles during the two most important periods of time during my first term as Mayor,” Gillian said. “He headed up the effort to defeat the BYOB initiative and he served as Co-Chairman of OCNJ CARE, the non-profit organization that raised and distributed over $600,000 in relief funding to local residents and businesses following Hurricane Sandy. He's organized, energetic and, most of all, loves Ocean City as much as I do. I'm very appreciative that he's agreed to help me be re-elected."
Fasy is a 26-year resident of Ocean City who owns NJ Realty in Sea Isle City. This is his first foray into the political world as a campaign manager.
"I couldn't say no to Mayor Gillian after the leadership he has shown during the past four years,” Fasy said. “He has been the leader Ocean City needed during some of the most challenging times in our City's history. I like the fact that our elected officials are working together to improve the community and not wasting time arguing and bickering. Jay has led that effort and I'm proud to support his campaign to be re-elected."
