Ocean City Police Remind Residents Not to Park Along Emergency Route During Snowstorm
Ocean City Police issued a reminder that parking along the designated snow emergency route is prohibited in advance of expected snowfall Sunday night.

The designated snow emergency route in Ocean City is the entire length of West Avenue from North Street to 59th Street. City ordinance prohibits anyone from parking their vehicles on any portion of the road when it is snow covered to allow for plowing.

Rain and snow is possible for Sunday night before 9 p.m. before changing over exclusively to snow, according to the National Weather Service.

The overnight low is expected to hit 26 degrees with 14-20 mile an hour winds.

The forecast calls for 2-4 inches of snow on Sunday, followed by another 1-3 possible on Monday. Snow is expected mainly before noon on Monday. The overnight low is expected to be 24 degrees, with winds of 16-23 miles an hour during the day, and 9-11 miles an hour at night.
