Owner of Snake That Escaped in Lower Township Surrenders Three More Snakes

The homeowner whose snake caused a stir this summer when it escaped in Lower Township has surrendered three snakes to local authorities, the Cape May Gazette reports.

The owner surrendered two more red tail boas and a corn snake after another snake escaped twice in the month of August, according to the report.

The snake that escaped earlier this summer was originally reported to be a 12-foot snake, but was later identified as a six-foot red tail boa that was harmless to people.
