Tractor-Trailer Catches Fire, Slows Traffic On Rt. 17
The fire shut down 2 lanes on Route 17 South Wednesday afternoon.
PARAMUS, NJ — A tractor-trailer fire on Route 17 southbound slowed traffic Wednesday.
Route 17 South was down to one lane at Ridgewood Avenue. The right and center lanes, along with the shoulder, were closed for about 90 minutes, police said.
Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg and Fire Chief Keith Bendul could not be reached for comment.
