Fire Engulfs School Bus on Rt. 80 in Parsippany, Cops Say
Children and driver were out of vehicle when first responders arrived, police said.

No one was injured Tuesday morning when a school bus carrying children on Rt. 80 erupted into flames and shut down a portion of the roadway, New Jersey State Police said.
The incident, which occurred around 9 a.m., closed the right and center lanes of the interstate highway at mile marker 47, police said. Firefighters arrived on scene to quell the blaze.
Children and the bus driver were out of the vehicle at the time of first responder arrival, police said.

According to nj.com, the bus was carrying the driver and two students to school for the hearing impaired in Mountain Lakes when black smoke began pouring out of the vents.
