Parsippany State of Emergency Fully Lifted

The State of Emergency has been officially lifted in Parsippany, Mayor James Barberio said Thursday morning.

Traffic signals are now functioning, garbage, recycling and yard waste pickup is also back on its regular schedule, the mayor said in a statement.

The Parsippany Water Department is no longer using a generator and has had full electric power restored to all pump houses. State of New Jersey water restrictions remain in effect.

About 86 percent of the town's power has been restored with 3,323 outages remaining as of Thursday at about noon, according to JCP&L.
