Street Closed After Box Truck Fire In Princeton: Police

BREAKING: The street was closed Thursday afternoon.

PRINCETON, NJ — Sergeant Street is closed between Markham Street and Pelham Street after a box truck fire in Princeton Thursday afternoon, police said. All other streets in the area have been re-opened as of 2:30 p.m.

The fire is already out, and it doesn't appear as though any homes were damaged, according to police. PSE&G has been notified and is on the scene. The cause remains unknown.

Route 27 (Nassau Street) remains open at this time, but drivers are advised to use caution in the area. Patch will update this story as more information becomes available.
