Custom Framing Brand Opens Princeton Location, Its 3rd In New Jersey

Custom framing retailer brings its gallery-style store to Palmer Square, with frames handcrafted by artisans and a gallery wall.

PRINCETON, NJ — Custom framing retailer Framebridge opened its third New Jersey location Saturday at 28 Palmer Square East in Princeton.

It has now expanded its retail footprint to 47 stores across 15 states and Washington, D.C.

The Princeton store joins existing New Jersey locations in Summit and Hoboken. To mark the grand opening, the company hosted a print giveaway from local artist Dave Demarchi.

Founded in 2014 by Susan Tynan in Washington, D.C., Framebridge began as an online-only business before launching its first brick-and-mortar stores in 2019.

The company says it has custom-framed more than 3 million pieces to date, with frames designed in-house and crafted by artisans in Tuscany and North Carolina.

Like other Framebridge locations, the Princeton store features a community gallery wall highlighting local landmarks and culture, including a Hamilton Playbill, a 1901 photograph of the Princeton Baseball Team, a postcard from Labyrinth Books, and an original painting of Jersey tomatoes.

The store is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
