Visit the September 13th Montgomery FunFest at Princeton Airport for a Day of Food, Fun, and Entertainment
The first ever Montgomery FunFest on Sunday, September 13 from 12-5 p.m. will be a day of fun for everyone at Princeton Airport.
MONTGOMERY, N.J. September 2, 2015 – With more than a hundred booths showcasing local businesses, art, contemporary crafts, culinary delights, helicopter rides and games of chance, live entertainment, and more, the Montgomery FunFest on Sunday, September 13 from 12-5 p.m. will be a day of fun for everyone at Princeton Airport. This first ever annual community festival is free to local residents and visitors from surrounding communities.
Montgomery FunFest will include a variety of food vendors serving everything from paella to funnel cakes. Feast upon sushi, BBQ, gyro, falafel, Chinese food, tacos, wood fired pizza, ice cream, kettle corn, cheesecake on a stick, and pastries. Terra Momo restaurants are also preparing a farm-to-table feast to be served inside the main airport hangar. Recently voted the #6 “Best Food Truck in America 2015,” Oink and Moo will be serving its beef and pork barbecue.
Attendees will enjoy games of skill, children’s activities, helicopter rides, and inflatable obstacle courses. In addition to fire trucks, planes, helicopters, and classic cars on display, Honda of Princeton will have its latest models to test drive. The Radio 101.5 Van will be at the event from 1-3 p.m. Listen to live music performances by Fitz & the Cats, GoodWorks, Acoustic Road, and more. Attendees can even end the day with a balloon ride!

Montgomery FunFest is truly a community centered event. School groups, local taekwondo clubs, and dance studio students will showcase their talents on a community stage. Montgomery Business Association members will be selling merchandise and many will be offering free gifts. The event’s Platinum Sponsors include the Montgomery Economic Development Commission, St. Charles Borromeo Church, and the Packet Media Group. FunFest is being produced by the Montgomery Business Association.
“Our goal is to create a town tradition that local residents would think not to miss. We appreciate that so many local business members, restaurants and community organizations are contributing to the event’s success,” says Montgomery FunFest co-chair Jean Robinson and executive director of Volition Wellness Solutions.
