No Fooling: Spring Weather Starts April on a High Note

Spring is in the air for this first week of April and the National Weather Service says that should mean plenty of sunny days ahead even if the temperature only stays in the 40's.

Monday looks to be the warmest day of the week with a high near 60 but there is at least a 20 percent chance of rain falling across our area. The rain should clear by tonight when the temperature will drop down to around 31 degrees for a chilly evening.

The high temperature for Tuesday looks to be near 45 on a mostly sunny day before dropping down near 28 when the sun sets. Wednesday and Thursday during the day look to be more of the same with a 30 percent chance of rain on Thursday night. The low temperature on Thursday night should be near 38.

Rain could continue through Friday into Friday night when the high temperature is expected to be near 49 and a low of 37 at night. Warmer days are expected for the weekend with a high of 52 predicted for Saturday and a low of 38 at night with a similar forecast on Sunday.
