Four N.J. first-aiders were hospitalized Friday after an ambulance and truck had a head-on "monumental" crash near MetLife Stadium: reports.
Four N.J. first-aid members were hospitalized late Friday after an ambulance and a large were involved in a "monumental" crash near MetLife Stadium, police said.
A semi-trailer truck, an ambulance and a car were involved in the crash in Carlstadt, according to CBS2, which happened in front of 3167 Washington Ave. in the Bergen County town.
A minivan or taxi attempting to make a left turn into a gas station caused an ambulance to swerve into oncoming traffic and strike the car and the truck, according to CBS2.

Responders had to cut the driver and front-seat passenger out of the ambulance in the crash that happened around 7:45 p.m. The four who were injured headed to a mutual aid call moments before a preseason football game between the Giants and Dolphins was beginning, according to Daily Voice.
