The president of Valley Hospital in Ridgewood has been named one of New Jersey’s 2014 Best 50 Women in Business by NJBIZ.
Audrey Meyers, the President and CEO of the hospital and the Valley Health System, is one of 50 Garden State women whom the publication will honor at an awards ceremony next Month.
“I am very honored and proud to be chosen for this prestigious recognition and to be included among this impressive group of women business leaders in New Jersey,” Meyers said in a Valley release about the recognition.
Each year, NJBIZ puts together a list of 50 women based on business growth, professional and personal accomplishments, community involvement, and advocacy for women.
“We are truly fortunate to have the opportunity to recognize this outstanding group of women,” Thomas Curtin, the publisher of NJBIZ, said in the release.
“As business and community leaders, they are constantly redefining success within and outside the business arena.”
Meyers, a village resident, runs the day-to-day operations of the hospital. She has been working in healthcare for 34 years, and has been serving as CEO of Valley since 2003.
