Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner - Knights of Columbus Red Bank Council #3187

Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner - Knights of Columbus Red Bank Council #3187
The Knights of Columbus Red Bank Council #3187 will be holding their Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner Saturday, March 15th at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 200 Fair Haven Road, in Fair Haven, New Jersey. This is one of the Knights major fundraisers for the year and is a great opportunity for the community to enjoy a great Traditional Irish meal in a family oriented setting.

The costs for the dinner are; Adults: $20, Couples: $35, Seniors: $15, Kids (Under 12): $10. Admission will include corned beef and cabbage, bread, cake, refreshments, chicken fingers and fries for the kids. A cash bar is available and live music will be performing for your entertainment.

The council’s Past Grand Knight Bryan Holsey, who is chairman of this year’s event, commented that “We use the funds generated from annual events like this to support local and national charities that are in desperate need of financial support.” Grand Knight Miles Svikhart continued, “The parish communities have always supported us tremendously at events like this. People understand that charity is one of the core principles of the Knights of Columbus and they are excited to help us meet our goals and help others.” Last year alone the Knights of Columbus raised and donated more than $158 million to charitable needs and projects, and we’re proud to be a part of that.”

The Knights of Columbus was officially chartered as a fraternal benefit society in 1882 thanks to the efforts of Venerable Father Michael J. McGivney. The Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity. The Red Bank Council #3187 was chartered in 1948.
