The high school was ranked 10th in the state and first in the county

Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School has made the top grade in New Jersey Monthly's 2012 academic ranking test.

The high school rated first in Monmouth County out of 20 high schools and 10th in the state out of 328, according to the New Jersey Monthly chart.

Rumson-Fair Haven moved up in its state ranking from 31 in 2010 to 10 this year. Holmdel High School came in second to Rumson-Fair Haven, ranking 13 statewide.

The high school was listed with a senior class enrollment of 215.5, average class size of 18.8 students, a student/faculty ratio of 10.3 to one and average combined SAT score of 1702. The percentage of student body AP tests topping a score of 3 is 86.2 and the percentage of faculty with advanced degrees, such as masters' and doctorates was listed as 60.4.

The New Jersey Monthly ranking only includes public high schools in its top 100.
