Car Catches Fire Near South Brunswick High School, No Injuries: PD
The car burst into flames seconds after two high school students exited it, police said.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A car with two high school seniors caught fire early Thursday morning, resulting in the closure of Stouts Lane. No injuries were reported, police said.
Two high school seniors were driving to school Thursday morning and were about to pull into the parking lot, when their 2013 Honda Santa Fe stopped. The driver and his passenger exited the car and found smoke from under the hood, police said.
Seconds later, the car burst into flames, police said. Both students were uninjured.

The South Brunswick Police Department responded to the scene and the Monmouth Junction Fire Department quickly extinguished the fire.
Stouts Lane was closed for a short time, and arriving students were sent to the Ridge Road entrance to get to school.
