Police continued to investigate an accident involving a tractor trailer that overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike in Middlesex County early Tuesday.
Some news outlets reported that the accident was fatal, but the State Police offered no confirmation as of 8 a.m.
The tractor trailer overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway northbound south of Exit 8A in Monroe Township. The right lane and shoulder were blocked until further notice at 7:30 a.m., according to turnpike officials.
