South Brunswick Recycling Truck Fire Wednesday Morning
BREAKING: Cardboard inside the truck ignited sometime before 7 a.m. on Melrich Road, police said.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The contents of a recycling truck caught fire early Wednesday morning on Melrich Road, South Brunswick police announced. The fire occurred sometime before 7 a.m. and it started when cardboard in the recycling truck caught fire.
The Monmouth Junction volunteer fire department and the Cranbury volunteer fire department responded and put out the fire. There were no injuries. You can see the truck emptying the burning cardboard onto Melrich Road to prevent the truck itself from catching fire.
