Truck Catches Fire at South Brunswick Marriott Hotel Tuesday
The truck caught fire as it pulled in at 6 a.m. Tuesday to deliver food to the hotel.

South Brunswick, NJ - A truck delivering food to the Courtyard Marriott Cranbury-South Brunswick caught fire early Tuesday morning in the hotel's parking lot, police reported. When the Monmouth Junction Fire Department got there, the truck was fully engulfed in flames. That's a photo of the truck above, provided by the Monmouth Junction Fire Dept.
The call about the fire came in at 6:08 a.m. Tuesday, to the Courtyard by Marriott at 420 Forsgate Drive. That Marriott is located in an industrial section of the Township.
Police and firefighters arrived to find the tractor fully involved in fire, with the flames starting to extend to the attached trailer. The truck was making a scheduled delivery of food to the hotel and caught fire immediately upon pulling into the parking lot. Firefighters confined the fire to the tractor-trailer. The Middlesex County Hazardous Materials Unit also responded due to leaking diesel fuel. There were no injuries.
