Daytime 4th Activities Cancelled
As of 3:00 PM this afternoon, Tuesday, July 3rd, 2014, the 2014 daytime festivities for Summit’s 67th Annual 4th of July Celebration have been canceled.  Daytime festivities will not be rescheduled to a later date.  Evening festivities including the Cameos in Concert at 7:45 PM and the Grand Fireworks Display at 9:15 PM will still occur as originally planned.   Please continue to check www.cityofsummit.org/recreationperiodically for all of the latest weather and event-related updates regarding Summit’s 4th of July Celebration.

Due to current weather predictions, the Summit Fourth of July & Celebration Committee, Inc. is confident that all evening festivities will go on as planned.  All event-goers are still urged to check www.cityofsummit.org/recreationperiodically, should the weather forecast for tomorrow evening change drastically.

The 2014 festivities are made possible through generous donations from our Premium Sponsors, Celgene Corporation, Overlook Medical Center, and Investors Savings Bank, as well as from residents like you.  We need your support to help keep the celebration going.  Support 67 years of Summit tradition.  Donations are fully tax-deductible and may be made online 24/7 or over the phone by contacting the Summit Department of Community Programs at 908-277-2932.
