Fire Damages Car Dealership On Route 9 In Toms River: Police
Police say there were no injuries in the early morning fire.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — An early morning fire that damaged a used car dealership on Route 9 Wednesday remains under investigation, Toms River police said. There were no injuries.
A passerby saw flames and smoke at Frank's Business Park, 2345 Route 9, and called police shortly after 4 a.m., said Jillian Messina of the Toms River Police Department.
The fire was extinguished by personnel from Pleasant Plains Fire Company with help from Toms River Fire Dept. No. 2, and the preliminary investigation indicated it started in Access Motor Cars, she said. The fire appears to be accidental, she said.

The connecting businesses suffered smoke damage and had to be ventilated.
The Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention, Ocean County Prosecutor's Office and the Toms River Police Department are investigating.
