Jahi McMath Case: Prayer Vigil Held for Brain Dead Teen In New Jersey
McMath's family is asking a judge to issue an order saying that she is still alive.

A prayer vigil was held last week for Jahi McMath, a 13-year-old Oakland girl hospitalized in New Jersey who was declared brain dead last December.
Jahi’s family is asking a judge to issue an order saying that she is still alive. A hearing on the matter had been scheduled in Alameda County Superior Court in Oakland last week but it was canceled after Christopher Dolan, the family’s attorney, asked for more time to provide additional medical evidence.
No new court date has been set. Jahi has been hospitalized in Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick.
