Missing Seaside Park Uber Driver Found Dead In Galloway Motel

Breaking: Galloway police are seeking information

GALLOWAY, NJ — An Uber driver who has been missing since early Friday has been found dead in an Atlantic County motel, authorities confirmed late Monday afternoon.

George Gdovin, 32, of Seaside Park, was last seen about 4 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Lake and Osborne roads in Bay Head after dropping off a customer, Seaside Park police said.

Family members confirmed Gdovin's death but did not provide any details.

Galloway Township police released a statement late Monday afternoon saying Gdovin was found Sunday afternoon. Police were called to the Rodeway Inn, 208 E. White Horse Pike, at 2:30 p.m. for a report of an unconscious male, the statement said.

Gdovin was confirmed to be deceased at the motel, police said.

Galloway Township detectives are investigating the circumstances leading to his death, the statement said.
