Toms River Fire Company 2, the lead company on the fire, said all six Toms River fire companies responded to the blaze and found extreme fire and smoke both inside and outside the home, the fire company said.

"On arrival, Engines 2671 and 2561 both stretched multiple handlines and crews made an aggressive interior attack," the fire company's Facebook post said. The fire was brought under control, and firefighters left the scene in about two hours.
