Truck Fire Slows Parkway Traffic: Reports
The truck caught fire on the northbound side of the Garden State Parkway, according to state information.

A truck that caught on fire on the Garden State Parkway Thursday morning slowed traffic northbound through Toms River, according to reports.
The Asbury Park Press reported the truck caught fire about 9:15 a.m., with state police saying the fire appeared to have begun in the rear wheels and then spread to the rear of the truck.
A report by Jersey Shore Hurricane News said the incident caused multiple northbound lanes to be blocked in the area, which was just north of the Toms River Toll Plaza.
