Driver Crashes Into Postal Truck Flees Scene In Warren

Three car crashes were reported on Wednesday in Warren including a hit and run with a United State Postal Service truck.

WARREN, NJ — Three car crashes were reported on Wednesday in Warren including a hit and run with a United State Postal Service truck.

On Feb. 15 at 8:13 a.m.: A 911 call was received reported a motor vehicle crash on King George Overpass. Patrol advised that a driver from Middlesex rear ended Susan Rose, 40, of Jersey City. Rose was issued a summonses for delaying traffic. No injuries reported.

On Feb. 15 at 12:28 p.m.: A hit and run motor vehicle crash was reported on Mountain View Road involving a United States Postal Service vehicle. Patrol checked the area but was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

On Feb. 15 at 6:50 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a motor vehicle crash without injury. A 30-year-old Basking Ridge man sideswiped a 30-year-old from Pompano Beach, Florida while traveling east on Mountain View Road the vehicle then struck a pole. No summonses issued and both cars were towed from the scene. JCP&L was notified of the damage to the pole.
