Bergen Woman Arrested For Selling Fraudulent Divorce Judgements: Prosecutor

Anastasya Varvaryuk, 29, was charged with practicing law without a license and forgery. She worked in Clifton.

A Bergen woman who allegedly sold fraudulent divorce judgements was charged Friday with practicing law without a license and forgery, authorities said.

Anastasya Varvaryuk, 29 of Elmwood Park, allegedly sold the judgements to unsuspecting clients and forged a superior court judge’s signature on them to make them appear authentic, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said in a press release Friday. The judgements she sold are not legal.

Varvaryuk, who is not a licensed attorney, worked out of Empire Multi Services in Clifton.
