Sandy Roberto, the owner of a dog-grooming salon, gave the girls Carmela, whose front legs are deformed, Tuesday. The deformity likely comes from the dog being kept in a crate, according to the report.
“Because I’m very different in school. I’m the only one who walks with a cane,” Tianna said. “I wondered if I got a disabled dog, she would know the same feeling.”

The girls’ mother came to the dog salon to get her other dog’s nails clipped. Carmela had been in the salon for more than a year and no one wanted her until Tianna saw her, CBS reported.
“Just because they’re disabled doesn’t mean they’re any different from a regular dog,” Gianna said.
