Need Help Starting Your Furnace? Call PSE&G

Public Service Electric and Gas Co. (PSE&G) is recommending that its gas heating customers test their heating systems now, before the chilly weather arrives.

If there’s a problem, PSE&G will come out to start the unit, at no cost to residents, through Sept. 9.

Customers are advised to first inspect their gas-fired heating systems to ensure the units start and run properly.

PSE&G will light customers’ pilot lights for free through Sept. 9. PSE&G will charge $25 for this service from Sept. 10 to Oct. 31.

Customers should call PSE&G at 800-350-PSEG or visit  pseg.com if they need help or would like to schedule a repair service appointment.
