'Spectacular' Halloween Laser Show, Festival is Thursday

Young children will be treated to a laser light show, goody bags, and other Halloween treats.

The annual children’s Halloween Festival will be held at Wayne Hills High School on Thursday, Oct. 25 beginning at 4:30 p.m.

A “Halloween Spectacular” laser light show will begin at 4:45 p.m.

Kids can enjoy the high-tech laser lights and pulsating sounds of ghosts, witches, and jack-o’-lanterns on a giant screen as they go on a spooky journey.

Refreshments will be served to all costumed children immediately after the show. Candy and goody bags will also be distributed.

Door prizes will be given away. Names will be drawn from registration forms turned in at the event.

All costumed children will receive a glow stick so they can be better seen when out trick or treating when it gets dark.

Gizmo the clown will make balloon favors for children.

Parents need to fill out the registration form attached to this article and bring it to the school before the festival begins at 4:30 p.m.

Each family should bring paper towels, napkins, facial tissues, bathroom tissues, or other similar items. The Junior Women’s Club, one sponsors of the event, will donate the items to the Wayne Food Pantry.

The event is for children in grades kindergarten through fifth.

The Golden Age Circle of Wayne and the Wayne Recreation Advisory Board, along with the Junior Women’s Club, are sponsoring the festival.
