Motorists should expect major delays in the area near Route 17.
Due to a tractor-trailer fire on Route 3 West, all lanes past Park Avenue in Rutherford are closed.
An advisory was posted on 511nj.org, the state's traffic and transportation information website.
Motorists should use alternate routes and plan for extra time traveling through the area.
