Thieves Target Electronics in This Week's Crimelog

An Xbox, GPS cord and Sony sound equipment are among the items that grew legs recently, according to the West Deptford Police Department.

Thieves Target Electronics in This Week's Crimelog

- A residence on South Union Ave. was the target of a theft. Interior parts of an air conditioner that sat in the back of the residence were stolen, while several of the exterior components were left at the scene on Oct. 22.

- A cell phone was stolen on Oct. 25. The theft occurred while an employee was working at Matteo’s Scrap Yard on Crown Point Road. 

-An unknown female stole a package of Ivory soap from the Family Dollar on Gateway Boulevard on Oct.26. The package, a value of $8, was concealed in her bag. 

- An Xbox was stolen from a resident on Lauderdale Road, during the resident’s party on Oct. 28. The Xbox was stolen by a partygoer and later found in his girlfriend’s vehicle. 

-A locked 1997 Honda Civic was stolen from a driveway on Nov. 1. The car was parked in front of the residence on Budd Boulevard. 

- A locked 1998 Honda Civic was stolen from the parking lot of Kingswick Apartments. No broken glass was left at the scene of the incident on Nov. 1.

- Two Sony subwoofers, two Sony speakers, one Sony amp total sound system, one Sony jump box, one pair of blue Nike sneakers and two $20 bills were stolen after a 1996 Honda Civic was entered on Nov. 1. The locked car was entered sometime overnight while parked on Woodhollow Drive.

- A GPS power cord was taken from a lock 1995 Honda Civic on Nov. 1. The vehicle was entered overnight will parked on Woodhollow Drive.
