Firefighters traced the source to a trucking facility. A truck fire in a nearby Wawa parking lot was also extinguished, officials said.
LOGAN TWP., NJ — Fire crews extinguished a blaze at a trucking facility in Logan Township on Thursday morning, the Gloucester County Office of Emergency Management said.
Multiple people called 911 just before 8 a.m. after an explosion near the U.S 130/ NJ 144 corridor in Bridgeport, said the EMA. The Logan Township Fire Department and mutual aid companies traced the source to a trucking facility on Cedar Swamp Road, said officials.
Crews doused the fire and fought multiple smaller fires in the area, bringing it under control in just under an hour, said the EMA. Photos posted by the Logan Township Fire Department showed a small structure on fire.
