The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office (GCPO) is looking for information on the whereabouts of a Williamstown man wanted for failure to appear in county drug court.
Thirty-one-year-old Matthew F. Celeste is described as a six-foot-six-inch, 200-pound, white male with blue eyes and brown hair.
Celeste has a tattoo of a pit bull that reads "Angel, 8/2/02" on his right arm, one of a cross that reads "In memory of Pop," and another tattoo of prayer hands that reads "Tom" on his left forearm.
Celeste pleaded guilty on December 4, 2013, to a charge of third-degree theft by illegal retention. That conviction stemmed from a November 2012 incident in which he stole a 1995 Honda Accord from its Pitman owner and resold it to a woman in Mantua Township for $250.
Celeste's plea was entered in connection with his admission to Gloucester County Drug Court.
Anyone who knows Celeste's whereabouts should contact the GCPO Lt. Barry Johnson at 856-498-5485. Anonymous tips can be provided by texting GLOTIP & your message to CRIMES (274637).
