13 Westfield High School Students Earn National Recognition in Italian Exam
13 Westfield HS students earned national recogintion on an exam that was administered to more than 5,200 students nationwide

Thirteen Westfield High School students were recently informed of recognition they received on the March 2016 Italian National Exam competing against students from 140 schools across 21 states.
Westfield High School Italian teachers Maria Santilli and Lauren Conroy explained that the exam, which was administered to more than 5,200 students nationwide, consisted of levels 1 – 5, with 5 being the highest.
The teachers congratulated the following students who earned national recognition:

- LEVEL 1: 5th place Sydney Gordner; Honorable Mention - Maria Beigler, Daniella Deis, Nicolas Guerriero, Cassia Harting-Smith, and Brendan Riccardi.
- LEVEL 2: 4th place Gianna Ricerca; Honorable Mention - Madison McKenna and Cameron Scalera.
- LEVEL 3: Honorable Mention - Alessandra Sabba, Michael Gagliardi and Henry Sacco.
- LEVEL 4: Honorable Mention - Veronica Grycan.
