Westfield Fire Department rushed to Charles Street early Monday morning after a Wonder Truck became fully engulfed in flames, according to fire officials.
The fire occurred at about 7:02 a.m. on Charles Street by Clark Street, the Fire Department said. The front of the Wonder Truck was fully engulfed, according to officials.
The fire also extended to the vehicle parked in front of the Wonder Truck, according to the Department. Fire Chief Michael Duelks said the car sustained heat damage to its rear trunk area.
Tour 1 quickly extinguished the fire on arrival, officials said.
Duelks said the origin of the fire started with the engine compartment, extending into the passenger compartment.
No injuries were reported on the scene, according to the Department.
Duelks added that the vehicle was removed from the road by the contracted tow company.
